Description: Some of the most important health benefits of blue vervain include its ability to soothe the nervous system, detoxify the body, reduce depression and stress, eliminate pain, lower inflammation, protect the immune system, and alleviate chest congestion.
Blue vervain is also known to reduce abdominal pain associated with menstruation and as it is considered a natural analgesic, it is used to reduce the pains of menstrual cramping.
Other traditional uses of this medicinal herb include treatment of colds, fever, asthma, colic, jaundice, gout, gallstones and parasitic worms.

Preparation: For every blue vervain tea bag, add 1 1/2 cups of fluoride-free water. Boil for 10 minutes then add your preferred sweetener.
